First of all, thank you for being here! Let me quickly share my vision for The CAPTURE LIFE Shop with you. The phrase "capture life" was inspired by the verse John 10:10- Jesus was talking to the Pharisees and explaining how He is the only way to salvation. Not only is He the gate to Heaven, but He came so that we may have life to the fullest. My job as an artist is to capture that God-given life in its entirety- chaotic, messy, sometimes covered in band-aids but oh so beautiful. Capturing life as it is means to let go of a false pursuit of perfection and to lean into truly finding joy with what's in front of you. Whatever stage of life you're in- THIS life is worth capturing and finding joy here.

Because we have a life-giving Savior. 

 My name is small on these products on purpose- I am not under the impression that you want to sport my name around town, other than my mom, maybe ;). The design image is a photograph I took of my daughter holding a bouquet and then a talented friend turned it into this design- I love photographing hands because they tell stories of what we hold dear to us. Chances are if I've taken your photo, I've asked to photograph your hands because I think they are so much a part of your story. I wanted it to be beautiful, but I also had a vision that we all need a reminder to really live this life fully because it's a gift from our Savior. A reminder when we look down at our sleeve to stop and pray for perspective for what fills us with the Holy Spirit opposed to what we can let go of for a peaceful heart. Life at any stage has its trials, and it takes so much intention on our part to not get caught up in the "less than ideal," but to find beauty in the every day. So friends, this is just a reminder to let Him capture your heart and fill your life.
